Metro Blooms is Growing and Blooming!

We are now seeking new Board Members and Volunteers! Hundreds of volunteers provide us with a total of more than 4000 hours of help every year, and love what they do! Our volunteers may help us nominate or evaluate gardens every year; help us make our annual spring Blooms Day a real celebration and help us to recognize what gardeners do for our city, and how eco-friendly gardening can improve our water quality. Volunteers helped us deliver our Rain Garden Workshops to more than 1,000 participants in 2007. Board members attend approximately one meeting a month and may serve on a working committee. Board members serve for at least one year and will now be helping us to design and plan for the growth of programs and services for the next three years! It's an exciting time.
